From Cantine San Marzano, the Il Pumo Negroamaro 2024 reflects a cooperative built on Apulian winemaking tradition and modern vinification. Founded in 1962 by 19 vine growers from San Marzano, the winery has grown over the decades to include more than 1,200 vine growers, bringing together generations of local knowledge with technologically advanced techniques. In 2022, San Marzano received the ‘Cooperative Winery of the Year Award’ from Gambero Rosso.

In the glass, this full-bodied Negroamaro offers intense aromas of blackcurrants and wild fruits, lifted by subtle notes of spice and thyme. The palate is described as charmingly balanced and juicy, delivering flavours that speak to Southern Italy and the region’s distinctive varietal character.
