The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan is presented here as a 10-book collection, bringing together Books 1–10 in one set. Set in a world where Ages come and pass and memories fade from legend to myth, the story follows a struggle in which the Shadow falls across the Pattern and the Dark One seeks to break free of an ancient prison.
Across the collection, prophecies unfold and the Aes Sedai remain watchful of truths others forget. Rand al’Thor is proclaimed the Dragon Reborn and is drawn into a conflict that reaches from the White Tower to the Stone of Tear and beyond, as the Forsaken move against him and the nations of the world are pulled towards chaos. The set traces shifting alliances, rival powers and the mounting pressure of destiny as the Last Battle approaches.
The Wheel of Time turns as Ages come and pass, and what was once legend fades into myth. Yet one truth remains: what mortal men forget, the Aes Sedai do not, and what was, what will be, and what is may yet fall under the Shadow.
The Forsaken are loose, the Horn of Valere has been found and the Dead are rising. As prophecy is fulfilled, Rand al’Thor, proclaimed the Dragon Reborn, tries to escape his destiny while the Dark One grows in strength and the Pattern demands the Dragon.
The Shadow lies across the Pattern and the Dark One turns his power against the prison that binds him. Rand al’Thor must find Callandor, the ancient Sword of the Dragon, while the Forsaken move to thwart him.
The Stone of Tear has fallen and Callandor is held by Rand al’Thor. As the Forsaken grow stronger, Rand must master the male half of the True Source, a power corrupted by the Dark One that can drive men to madness and may save or damn the world.
The bonds holding the Great Lord of the Dark are failing as the Forsaken tighten their snares. With the Aes Sedai divided by civil war and his forces split by treachery and ambition, Rand rides out to meet the foe, beset by the madness that comes to male wielders of the One Power.
Rand strives to bind the nations together and forge alliances against the Shadow, but other powers seek to command the war. In the White Tower, Amyrlin Elaida sets a trap for the Dragon, while rebel Aes Sedai scheme and the Forsaken plan their assault.
The war for humanity’s survival begins as Rand escapes the White Tower’s snares and gains the first oaths of the rebel Aes Sedai. Threatened by the Seanchan and attacked by the Shadow, he brings battle to Illian, while others struggle in Ebou Dar, Salidar and Shadar Logoth as new dangers awaken.
Rand has conquered Illian, struck down Sammael and shattered Seanchan armies, while others break the Dark One’s hold on the world’s weather and march towards the White Tower. Yet Rand and the Asha’man face corruption and madness, and the Seanchan launch a counter-strike.
Rand is succumbing to the taint on saidin, and his Asha’man show signs of the insanity that once devastated the world. As the Seanchan press their assault and the Forsaken join to destroy the Dragon, Rand hazards the impossible: removing the taint using a power from the Age of Legends that none have dared to risk.
Fleeing Ebou Dar with the kidnapped Daughter of the Nine Moons, Mat Cauthon is pursued by both the Shadow and the Seanchan empire. Egwene al’Vere lays siege to the White Tower, while Rand must gamble again, unsure which of his allies are truly enemies.
