Synopses

Fool's Quest

Years after freeing a dragon from the glaciers on Aslevjal, Fitz and the Fool have gone separate ways: the Fool to Clerres, and Fitz to a life with a wife, family and home. Now the Fool returns to the Six Duchies betrayed and broken, and Fitz attempts to help him at Buckkeep Castle.

When Fitz’s young daughter Bee is abducted from Withywoods by mysterious raiders, he is driven to rescue her. At the same time, the Fool insists Fitz travel with him to Clerres for vengeance, forcing Fitz to take up his assassin’s tools once more.

Assassin's Fate

With Bee lost and Clerres corrupted by greed, Fitz is determined to reach the city and take vengeance on the Four, for both Bee’s loss and the Fool’s torture. Travelling with FitzVigilant, Spark and Perseverance, the journey leads from Kelsingra down the Rain Wild River and on to the Pirate Isles.
