The nose is complex and savoury, with earthy, chestnutty notes, mature character and subtle, mellowed fruit. On the palate, it is deep-flavoured, supported by lithe acidity and supple yet chewy tannins. Closely related to Nebbiolo, Vespolina brings a similarly distinctive Piedmontese profile while offering approachability with less ageing.
