Why it stands out

Select Aperitivo is a proper Venetian original, created in Venice in 1920 and still built around the same authentic production method. It is made with 30 botanicals, with juniper berries and rhubarb root doing much of the heavy lifting, giving you a more layered, bittersweet profile than a simple orange-led aperitif. The production process lasts no less than nine months, which helps give the liquid its depth and polish.

Flavour profile

In the glass, this is bright, bitter and aromatic. You get citrus and essential oils first, followed by fresh balsamic notes, resinous juniper, herbaceous depth and a gentle spicy edge. On the palate, roots and bark bring structure, while citrus keeps the finish lively and persistent.
