Skipper Demerara Rum (700ml - 40%)

Drawn from Guyana’s long rum-making tradition, Skipper Demerara Rum is a dark, full-bodied rum produced at Diamond Distillery in Georgetown. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is made from a blend of locally sourced sugar-cane molasses and blackstrap molasses, with rum from traditional wooden Port Morant pot stills contributing to its depth and texture.

Aged for around three to four years in old whisky casks originally used for Scotch maturation, this independently owned brand has been established since 1930. The style is intensely aromatic and bittersweet, with enough character to stand up well in long drinks and cocktails.
