Machined from black anodised aluminium, it has a strong bayonet flange that locks firmly into the camera body. The telescope-side thread is M42 x 0. 75 (T-Thread), with blackened, glare-threaded internal surfaces and a ribbed outer surface for a more assured grip when fitting or removing the ring. It is compatible with M42 x 0. 75 camera adapters, including Celestron T-Adapters, and suits terrestrial and celestial imaging setups where the correct adapter is used.
