Celestron Thermistor for Smart DewHeater Controllers

For telescope setups that use third-party heating bands or straps, the Celestron Thermistor for Smart DewHeater Controllers adds precise temperature sensing to Celestron’s Smart DewHeater Controller system. It allows the controller to regulate heat more accurately, helping to prevent dew while conserving battery power.

The sealed probe tip sits beneath the heating band or strap to provide accurate temperature readings, and the 1828. 8mm cable supports a wide range of equipment layouts. A 2. 5mm plug connects to the appropriate port on the Smart DewHeater Controller, which is available separately. If you are using a Celestron Dew Heater Ring, a separate thermistor is not required, as the ring already includes one.
