Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec 2019

From Terrazas de los Andes, the Reserva Malbec 2019 is a Mendoza red shaped by high-altitude vineyards situated at over 1000 metres above sea level. Made using only the free-run wine, it is aged for 12 months in a mixture of new and old French and American oak barrels, enhancing the wine’s trademark intensity and purity of fruit.

In the glass, it shows a harmonious, smooth profile, with racy notes of violet and graphite set against a backbone of plum and currant fruit. The finish is reminiscent of dry cherries, raisins and prunes, bringing depth and savoury nuance to each sip. A natural choice for the table, it pairs particularly well with rare roasted lamb or beef, as well as heavily seasoned rustic, meaty sausages.
