The Cult Born Into This is the band’s eighth studio album, originally released in 2007, presented here as a 2CD digipack edition expanded with a disc of bonus material. It was their sole release for Roadrunner Records.

Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy are joined by Chris Wyse on bass and backing vocals, and John Tempesta on drums and percussion. Produced by Youth, who also plays bass guitar on the album, the set includes the singles ‘Dirty Little Rockstar’ and ‘Illuminated’.
