Synopses

The Tower of Fools

Reinmar of Bielau, called Reynevan, flees after being caught in an affair with a knight’s wife. Pursued by the Stercza brothers seeking vengeance and by the Holy Inquisition, he is drawn towards the Narrenturm, the Tower of Fools, a medieval asylum for the mad and for those who challenge the prevailing order, as strange mystical forces gather in the shadows.

Warriors of God

The second volume depicts the adventures of Reynevan and his friends in the years 1427–28, as war erupts across Europe. After hiding in Bohemia, he travels to Silesia to carry out dangerous secret missions for leaders of the Hussite religion, while also seeking revenge for his brother’s death and trying to discover the whereabouts of his beloved, all under pursuit from multiple enemies.

Light Perpetual

Reynevan is besieged on all sides and risks torture and execution if he makes any mistake in his search for his beloved, Jutta of Apolda. With help from his companions Scharley and the mysterious Samson Honeypot, he travels across the Bohemian realm as political and religious alliances continue to shift and the struggle for dominance threatens anyone in its path.
