Synopses

City of Bones

Clary Fray’s life changes after she witnesses a murder carried out by teens with medieval weaponry. She learns they are Shadowhunters, secret warriors who drive demons out of this dimension. Drawn into their world, Clary begins uncovering the truth about her family and a battle tied to the fate of the world.

City of Ashes

With her mother in a coma and her father determined to destroy the world, Clary is pulled deeper into New York’s underworld of werewolves, demons and Shadowhunters. Valentine, a rogue Shadowhunter, has two of the Mortal Instruments and is building a demon army to wage war on the Shadowhunter council. As conflict begins, Clary faces her fears and confronts complicated feelings for a boy she wishes was not her brother.

City Glass

In the third instalment of The Mortal Instruments, Valentine holds two of the Mortal Instruments and the Shadowhunter world nears civil war.
