Synopses

Ao Haru Ride Vol. 1

Futaba Yoshioka’s view of boys changes when she meets Kou Tanaka in junior high. After he moves away due to family issues, she later sees him again in high school and questions whether he is still the same person she once knew.

Ao Haru Ride Vol. 2

Futaba encounters Kou again, but he appears different from before. Kou tells her that he liked her in junior high, yet insists they cannot go back to those days, while his behaviour towards her remains mixed. A leadership retreat may affect how close they become.

Ao Haru Ride Vol. 3

Futaba reflects on her feelings for Kou and realises they relate to who he is now rather than who he was. When she learns that her friend Yuri has a crush on him, she becomes uncertain about what to do next.

Ao Haru Ride Vol. 4

Futaba continues to feel that Kou is not the same as the boy she once knew. She wonders what happened between Kou and Yuri, and remains determined to understand more about Kou’s past and why he keeps others at a distance.
