Treatment & maintenance

The surface is not rusted at the point of delivery and will develop its protective rust layer over time when exposed to atmospheric conditions. If preferred, the rusting process can be accelerated by spraying the surface with soap water and salt water. To avoid staining clothing, avoid contact with the developing rust layer.
