Bisci Pratello Catulliano Lugana 2024

From Pratello, the Catulliano Lugana 2024 is a medium-bodied white wine with an open, expressive nose and a rounded, mineral-led finish. Aromas lean towards citrus, apple and herbs, with floral and fruity hints that develop into clean notes of juniper berries, Golden Delicious apple and a final lift of William pear.

On the palate, it’s described as very soft and well balanced, bringing together bitter, sour, sweet and salty flavours for a composed overall mouthfeel. Peach and apple come through clearly, alongside white rose petals, before a long, elegant finish with an apricot-like roundness and a taut mineral edge.

The Pratello estate sits on a hillside overlooking Lake Garda and is owned by the Bertola family. Of the estate’s 140 hectares, sixty-six have been planted with vines, with the remaining land given over to forest and cereal crops.
