Louis Latour Grand Ardèche Chardonnay 2023

Maison Louis Latour’s Grand Ardèche Chardonnay 2023 is a carefully selected white wine from the Ardèche valley, a site chosen by the house in 1979 for its clay and limestone-based soils and its suitability for producing top-quality Chardonnay. Sourced from the best vineyards and selected each year at harvest, the grapes are pressed and the must is placed immediately into oak barrels made by Latour’s own cooperage. The wine then ages for approximately 10 months, in a style inspired by the great wines of Burgundy.

In the glass, it shows a brilliant straw-yellow hue. The nose is intense, with aromas of toast, vanilla and acacia flower, while the palate is round and powerful, finishing with a fresh almond note and pleasing persistence.
