Bodega Vistalba Corte A 2017

From Bodega Vistalba, the Corte A 2017 is a sophisticated Argentinian red blend shaped by a complex aromatic profile. The nose shows dark chocolate, prune and tobacco, while the palate develops a sweet, ripe fruit theme before moving into notes of chocolate and spice. Matured for 18 months in French oak barrels, it is crafted with ageing potential in mind.

Bodega Vistalba was built in 2002 by Carlos Pulenta and fashioned after the Bordeaux chateaux model, with the aim of creating refined blends. Located in Vistalba at the edge of Mendoza, the region is notable for its mountainous terroir and higher elevation than surrounding areas, with increased sunlight. The winery is the only one permitted to use the name of the region, Vistalba, in its name.
