From Château de Valois, the Pomerol 2020 reflects a vineyard story rooted in long-term stewardship and a clear focus on quality. The estate’s origins trace back to 1862, when the original vineyards of Château Figeac were restructured, laying the foundations for what would become Château de Valois.

In 1962, Bernard Leydet owned the vineyard, then comprising eight hectares. Over time, he expanded the Pomerol plots and concentrated on raising standards through improved vineyard management techniques and investment in the cellar. Since 1996, Bernard’s son, Frédéric Leydet, has continued this family legacy, maintaining the same commitment to producing Pomerol wines.
