Chateau de Beaulon Cognac XO Premier 70cl

From Château de Beaulon, the Cognac XO Premier is a Fine Bois Cru Cognac from a house also known for its Pineau de Charentes. Unusually, the base wine is composed entirely of Colombard and Folle Blanche, with no Ugni Blanc, creating a distinctive profile. In the glass, it shows golden tones with almost orange highlights.

On the nose, expect notes of bread, almond, gorse and wild peach, lifted by cinnamon and a racy, complex character with clearly defined aromas. The palate follows with a very rich, fruity style, bringing orange freshness and a notably long aftertaste.

This Cognac has received recognition including “Perfection in its kind” (GaultMillau) and “An Elite eau-de-vie” (Revue de Vin de France), alongside awards and scores such as Tasting Noted 96/100, 2017 Vert de Vin Professional, and a 2018 Gold Medal at Vinalies International.
