From Pakruojis Manor Distillery, Pakruojis Horseradish Schnapps is a distinctive horseradish-based spirit, prized for its local wasabi-like character and pronounced spicy notes. The horseradish root is left to mature deep in rich earth for a year or more, then grated and stored in spirit for at least two months, creating a tangy, savoury profile that brings lift and bite to drinks and food pairings.

Pour it into a specially designed Bloody Mary for an extra savoury edge, or serve alongside grilled meats and smoked salmon when you want a sharp, lively accompaniment that stands up to bold flavours. Established in Lithuania’s historic north, Pakruojis Manor Distillery draws on a local drinks-making tradition dating back to the early 16th century, and was brought back to life towards the end of 2018 after a long hiatus.
