Château des Bertrands Rascas Côtes de Provence Rosé 2020

From Château des Bertrands, the Rascas Côtes de Provence Rosé 2020 reflects a historic Provençal estate sheltered by the 500 million-year-old Maures mountain range. Certified ‘High Environmental Value’ at the highest level, the vineyard benefits from a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and a prevailing easterly wind, while the terroir is defined by stony soils with pink sandstone and sand.

In the glass, this rosé shows a silky, pale pink colour. The nose is intense and expressive, offering a rich bouquet of exotic fruit including papaya and ripe peaches, underlined by delicate woody notes. On the palate, it continues in a fruity, spicy register, with a fine, delicate and elegant texture and a long finish. Serve alongside fish dishes, particularly smoked fish, or enjoy with sushi.
