Cold Pressed Organic HIGH LIGNAN Flaxseed Oil – 500ml

Flax Farm cold-pressed organic high lignan flaxseed oil is a fresh, unfiltered oil with a delicate, mild and creamy character. Made simply from flaxseeds and bottled in the traditional way, it is produced in small batches and contains visible high lignan-rich particles that settle as a dark layer at the bottom of the bottle.

This 500ml bottle comes in dark green glass to help protect the oil from sunlight. Its mild, creamy profile makes it well suited to everyday dishes, from porridge and salads to soups and shakes, with further serving suggestions including pasta, cooked vegetables, mashed potatoes, houmous and other Mediterranean dips and sauces.

Storage and serving

• Shake well before use to incorporate the lignans into all of the oil
• Store the bottle on its side to make incorporating the lignans easier
• Use within 75 days from opening or 4 months from pressing
• Store an opened bottle in the fridge
• Can be stored in the freezer for a limited time, which extends its life for up to 6 months
• Suitable for salad dressing
