Domeniile Cuza Malbec Moldovan Red Wine

From Republica Moldova, Domeniile Cuza Malbec is a dry red wine with 13% ABV and a generous, dark-fruited character. The wine opens with aromas of black cherries, dried plums and fine spice, with notes of vanilla, cocoa and cinnamon.

On the palate, a velvety texture carries flavours of blueberries, blackberries and dark chocolate, finished with subtle spicy notes. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates during the cooler parts of the day to help preserve the variety’s aromatic character. After hand-sorting, destemming and slow pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature before maturation in different vessels and final blending.
