Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea Elite Pinot Noir Red Wine

From Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea in Oltenia, this Elite Pinot Noir is a dry red wine with 14% ABV. It is made using mechanically harvested grapes, with maceration and fermentation carried out in piston winemakers for 10 days. Lowering the pistons allows greater extraction of colour, while careful temperature control preserves a fruity character with fewer tannins and no barrel maturation.

Light yet complex, it opens with spice-led aromas before moving into notes of ripe cherries and plums. The tannins bring roundness and a silky texture without adding extra weight, giving the wine a fine, well-defined character. Serve at 18–20°C alongside game dishes, juicy steaks, beef, mutton, goat, pork, lamb, duck or goose.
