For heavy-duty fixing into non-cracked concrete, masonry and non-porous stone, these Fixaball M10 through bolts provide a zinc clear expansion anchor option in a choice of lengths. Also referred to as rag bolts, they are suited to applications where the fixing passes through the fixture once it has been positioned.

The cold formed body supports consistent dimensional accuracy and material stability. Reduced embedment suitability is also stated, helping to avoid contact with rebars or reinforcement cages where required.

Safety information

• Check the concrete strength before installation to ensure the class or standard is suitable.
• The concrete base must be compact with insignificant porosity.
• Minimum installation depth values must always be respected for anchor depth, anchor-to-anchor distances and anchor-to-edge distances.
• Drill to the specified minimum depth and diameter, perpendicular to the base material surface.
• Take special care when drilling near reinforcement areas to avoid damage.
• Clean holes thoroughly to remove dust and debris with a suitably sized brush.
• When temperature is below 0ºC, ensure water does not seep into the hole.
• Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material to be fixed and the washer, including sealing products.
• Apply the specified torque with a torque wrench.
• Where holes in the material to be fixed are larger than required, a thicker washer of bigger diameter is necessary, but this does not ensure correct distribution of shear loads amongst all anchors in the same group.
