For heavy-duty masonry fixing, this Fixaball loose bolt anchor combines an M12 threaded hex head bolt with a masonry shield. It is a zinc-finished high tensile 8,8 anchor for use in concrete, brick and stone, with lengths available to suit different maximum fixture thicknesses.
Installation requires the correct hole size, depth and tightening torque to achieve the stated performance values. Holes must be drilled square to the base material, and the anchor should be installed to the specified embedment depth.

Care and maintenance
- Clean the hole with an appropriately sized brush before installation.
- If rebar is encountered while drilling, stop, repair the hole with high quality mortar, and drill a new hole no less than twice the diameter of the shield anchor away.
Safety information
- Drill holes to the specified minimum depth and diameter, square to the surface of the base material.
- At an installation temperature of 0, ensure water does not seep into the hole, as expansion from water to ice could crack the concrete.
- Under wet conditions, use a specified injection resin.
- Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material being fixed and the washer, including sealing products.
- If the holes in the material being fixed are larger than required, a thicker washer of bigger diameter is necessary. This does not ensure correct distribution of shear loads amongst all anchors in the same group, and the shear load is applied only to anchors with a correct diameter on the material being fixed.
