Components

Security and access control

Complex mode supports passwords of six to sixteen characters using three of the four character sets. Passphrase mode supports 10 to 64 characters and can be a numeric PIN, phrase, series of phrases, or lyrics. An optional “eye” control can reveal the entered password to help reduce entry errors. After ten consecutive incorrect entries, brute force protection blocks user or one-time recovery passwords; if the admin password is entered incorrectly ten times consecutively, the drive is crypto-erased.

Write protection

Read-only mode can be configured by Admin or User, including a session-based read-only mode or a compulsory read-only mode set by the administrator for the user.
