Designed for organisations that need robust control over portable data, the Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 50 Type-C XTS AES Encrypted USB Flash Drive 64GB (IKVP50C/64GB) combines hardware encryption with layered authentication and anti-tamper protections. It uses FIPS 197 certified AES 256-bit hardware encryption in XTS mode and has been pen tested for enterprise-grade security, with defences against brute force password attacks and BadUSB via digitally-signed firmware.

Flexible access management supports Admin, User and One-Time Recovery passwords in both Complex and Passphrase modes. Complex passwords can be set from six to sixteen characters using three of the four character sets, while Passphrase mode accepts a 10 to 64-character numeric PIN, phrase, series of phrases, or lyrics. A built-in “eye” option can reveal the password as it is entered to reduce errors, while a virtual keyboard helps protect credentials from keyloggers and screenloggers. Read-only/write-protect can be configured by Admin and User, including session-based read-only mode and admin-enforced read-only mode for the user.
