Hand crafted by Fair Trade artisans, the Paper High Indra Extra Large Embossed Leather Journal with Semi-Precious Stone is designed to travel with you, with a hand-bound finish made to withstand everyday knocks and bumps. Each cover is created using a blend of contemporary and traditional methods, then embossed by hand with small tools, so every journal has its own character and the pattern may vary from the one pictured.

The leather cover is made using a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned with natural dyes, then protected with natural oils to soften and age over time. Inside, you’ll find unlined pages of handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi), crafted from recycled, unbleached cotton salvaged from the Indian garment industry. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it’s a pleasure to write, draw, paint, or scrapbook on, and is suitable for ball-point pens, gel pens, or watercolours; fountain pens are not recommended.
