Paper High Indra Extra Large Embossed & Stitched Leather Journal

Crafted using a blend of contemporary and traditional methods, the Paper High Indra Extra Large Embossed & Stitched Leather Journal is hand bound and designed to travel well, standing up to everyday knocks and bumps. The leather cover is made from a by-product of the meat industry in India and tanned using only natural dyes, then protected with natural oils to help it soften and age beautifully over time.

Embossed detailing is created with small handmade tools, making every journal unique; the pattern may vary from the one pictured. Inside, you’ll find unlined pages made from handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi), crafted from recycled cotton salvaged from waste in the Indian garment industry. Only unbleached cotton is used, ensuring the paper is acid-free, lightly textured and luxuriously thick for writing, drawing or painting. It’s suitable for ball-point pens, gel pens and watercolours, though it is not recommended for fountain pens. Each journal will develop its own creases, bumps and marks with age; if a distressed finish is not to your liking, a more suitable version can be selected upon request.
