Petromax Charcoal Tray

Designed for flexible outdoor cooking, the Petromax Charcoal Tray from the pro-ft series lets you set up heat for a range of Dutch oven and grilling configurations. Use it to cook in a Dutch oven lid like a pan, or pair it with the Grilling Grate pro-ft to fry meat and vegetables with controlled heat.

The tray holds approximately 14–18 commercially available barbecue briquettes and can be transported in the ft6 (and bigger) when the handles are retracted. Holes around the edge allow it to be used as a practical chimney starter: once the charcoal has turned to embers, place a Dutch oven on top. With a diameter of 23.5cm (9.5in), it is optimally suited to Dutch ovens ft6 and ft9. Combine it with other pro-ft series components to create a wider set of cooking alternatives.
