Portobello Road Savoury Gin

Portobello Road Savoury Gin is a London dry gin created from the distillery’s classic botanical base, with additional bergamot, rosemary, basil and green olive inspired by Corsica and the wider Mediterranean. A small pinch of sea salt is added after distillation, bringing a subtle coastal edge to the spirit. Bottled at 42% ABV, this 70cl expression has a distinctly savoury profile while remaining clearly rooted in gin.

Juniper and citrus lead on the nose, followed by pronounced herbal notes from basil and especially rosemary. The palate is bright and vibrant with a dry finish, less spicy than some other expressions yet still carrying lingering nutmeg heat, a hint of salt and a lasting sense of dryness from green olive. It suits Mediterranean-style serves and works well alongside food.
