Synopses

Rotherweird

In 1558, twelve children, gifted far beyond their years, are banished by their Tudor queen to the town of Rotherweird. Centuries later, the town remains cast adrift from the rest of England, its independence bound to a strict rule: nobody studies Rotherweird or its history. When an Outsider arrives with enough wealth and power to buy the town, deeply buried secrets are brought into question.

Wyntertide

Rotherweird has been independent for 400 years to protect a deadly secret. After Sir Veronal Slickstone’s death, the town attempts to return to its abnormal normality, but signs of a long game begin to appear. Omens multiply, a warning is delivered at a funeral, an ancient portrait speaks, the Herald disappears, and democracy threatens the covenant between town and countryside, all pointing towards the Winter Solstice.

Lost Acre

Geryon Wynter, an Elizabethan mystic, has achieved resurrection and returned to present-day Rotherweird after the chaos of Election Day. As his conspiracy reaches its climax, questions remain over how a stranger from another time can seize control, and why he has come back. With neither friend nor foe quite what they seem, the endgame threatens not only Rotherweird, but the future of mankind itself.
