Solid Self Colour Blank Thimble 8MM-38MM (Wire Rope Cable Drillable Rigging)

Designed for forming secure loops in wire rope, the Self Colour Wire Rope Thimble is a solid, teardrop-shaped rigging component made from steel. It sits neatly inside the eye of a wire rope loop, helping to protect the rope during use where movement and load can place stress on the cable.

With a groove running around the outside, the thimble supports the rope as it wraps into position, helping to reduce kinks and fraying that can affect tension over time. The self colour finish can be left as-is or finished to suit your setup. Suitable for lifting, tensioning and marine applications, it is straightforward to fit: wrap the wire rope around the groove and secure with an appropriate clip. If required, the thimble can also be drilled.
