Tamiya German Sturmgeschutz III Ausf.G Early Version (1:35 Scale)

Developed from the Panzer III chassis, Germany’s Sturmgeschutz III (StuG III) became a key assault gun design from its first combat use in 1940. This Tamiya model kit recreates the StuG III Ausf.G early version in 1:35 scale, reflecting the later wartime evolution that brought a redesigned superstructure and a more powerful long-barrel 75mm L/48 gun.

The early G-type configuration introduced a square-shaped gun mantlet and incorporated additional battlefield fittings including an MG42 machine gun with shield, a commander’s vision cupola and smoke dischargers. Side-mounted Schurzen (skirts) were also adopted from spring 1943.
