Updated tooling delivers a more accurate appearance within Tamiya’s 1/48 Aircraft Series, with close attention paid to areas such as cockpit detail and finely rendered panel lines.

Built for adult constructors, the kit can be assembled to represent a range of Spitfire Mk.I variants and includes a seated pilot figure for added realism. Separate components are provided for the main landing gear and horizontal stabilisers, while photo-etched parts help refine details such as the radiator, oil cooler, gun sight and seatbelt components. Three marking options are included to complete the finished model.
