Tamiya US 40t Tank Transporter Dragon Wagon (1:35 Scale)

Built around one of the largest tank transport vehicles of the Second World War, this Tamiya model kit recreates the U.S. 40t Tank Transporter “Dragon Wagon” in 1/35 scale. The set captures the powerful tractor-and-trailer form developed to move heavy tanks to the front line and recover them when damaged, with detailing that rewards careful, considered assembly.

The tractor’s armoured cabin is moulded as a single unit using slide moulding for precise construction, with bulletproof window guards that can be fitted open or closed. A tandem winch assembly, accurately recreated cabin interior and suspension, and a sturdy trailer with wheel guards and moveable skids add further depth. Hollow rubber tyres, plus photo-etched parts, chain, pipe and other metal components, enhance the finished build, while four figures in two types complete the scene.
