Teso la Monja Teso la Monja 2019 75cl

From Toro, Teso La Monja 2019 is produced in very small quantities, with around 900 bottles made each year. This red wine comes from an 18-hectare vineyard plot with a higher proportion of limestone in the soil than is typical for the region, then undergoes fermentation in a wooden egg before being transferred to three new Bordeaux barrels.

Deep ruby in colour, it shows an aromatic, complex profile with ripe fruit, toasted wood and laurel. The palate is full-bodied yet notably poised, with balanced acidity, impressive persistence and a long, silky finish where the flavours and texture are seamlessly integrated.
