Synopses

A Darker Shade of Magic

A Gathering of Shadows

Kell is burdened by guilt and troubled by dreams of ominous magical events, waking with thoughts of Lila. As Red London prepares for the Element Games, an extravagant international competition of magic, a pirate ship draws nearer. With Black London rising again, the balance of magic demands a dangerous cost.

A Conjuring of Light

The fragile equilibrium among the four Londons reaches breaking point as darkness spreads over the Maresh Empire, leaving room for another London to rise. Kell begins to falter under competing loyalties, while Lila must learn to control magic before it bleeds her dry.
