Synopses

The Spook’s Apprentice

For years, the local Spook has protected the County from evil, but his time is coming to an end. After many apprentices fail, only Thomas Ward remains. Tom must face Mother Malkin, described as the most dangerous witch in the County.

The Spook and his apprentice, Thomas Ward, continue their work defending the County from the dark. Beneath Priestown, in the catacombs, a creature known as the Bane waits, one the Spook has never defeated. As they prepare for battle, another deadly enemy appears to threaten Tom and his master.

The Spook’s Secret

As nights draw in, the Spook travels to his winter house, a place Tom dislikes. Feral witches are kept in the cellar, and menacing creatures stir on the nearby moors. A sinister stranger threatens the Spook, raising questions about whether his past is catching up with him and what may happen if his secrets are revealed.
