Synopses

Anno Dracula 1999

Vampire princess Christina Light’s New Year’s Eve party at Daikaiju Plaza is interrupted when yakuza assassins and Transylvanian mercenaries seize the guests. Nezumi, a vampire schoolgirl and agent of the Diogenes Club, is forced out and must battle her way back up through a perilous building. The question is whether she can survive past midnight.

On the winter solstice, birds vanish and mist arrives in Nebulah, and the residents learn not to go out after dark. As cabin fever grows and the mist proves beguiling, the town’s population dwindles until only six remain. After Pete rescues a stranded psychic, he is warned he will be dead by solstice unless he leaves town soon.

Hex Life

This collection presents tales of witches, wickedness, evil and cunning, described as stories of disruption and subversion by today’s women. The witches may be monstrous or heroic, depending on their own definitions. The book is described as featuring eighteen tales of witchcraft from multiple contributors, and closes with the invitation: “Bring out your dread.”
