Ventisquero Grey (Glacier) Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

From Ventisquero, the Grey (Glacier) Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 presents a non-traditional take on Cabernet Sauvignon, capturing the variety’s typical character through a notably elegant lens. Instead of leaning into classic robustness, it offers subtle notes of chocolate, tobacco and black pepper, with fine French oak supporting a long, smooth finish.

Created as part of a project founded by Chilean Gonzalo Vial, the wine reflects an approach shaped by a passion for the land and a love of farming. The first vines were planted in 1998 at the Trinidad property in the coastal region of the Maipo Valley, with the winery formally launched in 1999. The name Ventisquero pays homage to the glaciers of Chilean Patagonia; in Spanish, it means glacier.
