Across the gardens, there is plenty to explore both indoors and out, from the tropical rainforest of the Palm House and the Victorian architecture of the Temperate House to botanical art galleries, the Treetop Walkway, The Hive and the Great Broad Walk Borders. What happens on the day

On arrival at Kew, you will need to hand in your voucher at the ticket office, where you will receive a map with information on what events are arranged for that day so you can plan your visit.

You can spend as long as you like in Kew Gardens during opening hours. During your visit, you are welcome to enjoy a self-service cream tea in the Orangery Servery, which includes either a scone with cream and jam or a slice of cake.

• Disabled access is available throughout the gardens. Kew Palace offers a staff-operated lift to all of its three floors
• Under 17s are admitted at the child rate posted on the entrance gates. The experience covers a cream tea for two. Any additional catering must be paid for on the day
