Synopses

Raven's Gate

Matt, raised in foster care, is sent to Yorkshire on a rehabilitation programme and finds himself surrounded by sinister events. As he investigates, he uncovers a secret involving eight guardians who protect the world from the Old Ones. Devil worshippers are trying to bring the Old Ones back.

After what happened at Raven's Gate, fourteen-year-old Matt Freeman believes his fight against evil is finished. He learns a second gate exists and travels to Peru with his friend Richard, aided by a secret organisation called the Nexus. With a traitor in their midst and Richard kidnapped, Matt escapes with the help of Pablo and heads into the Nazca desert, where the second gate is close to opening.

Night Rise

In Nevada, fourteen-year-old twins Jamie and Scott Tyler perform a mind-reading act in a run-down theatre. When Scott is kidnapped by a multinational corporation called Nightrise, Jamie is left alone and wanted for murder. His journey takes him into a corrupt presidential campaign, the American prison system, and ten thousand years into the past, where he meets the other Gatekeepers and witnesses the creation of Raven's Gate.
