From Warre’s, the Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port 2008 is defined by extended ageing intended to build depth and complexity. Matured in wood for four years, it was bottled in 2012 without any fining or filtering, then aged for a further six years in bottle in the Warre’s lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia.

This prolonged maturation sits at the heart of Warre’s LBV style, with bottle ageing that typically continues beyond the legal requirement for LBV. The result is a Port with a sumptuous nose and flavours, offering a style and complexity akin to that of Vintage Port.
