El Enemigo Malbec 2022

From El Enemigo, the Malbec 2022 is a rich, concentrated Red Wine produced at Piedemonte al Sur in the southern foothills of the Uco Valley, Mendoza. Created as a joint venture between Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicolas Catena, and Alejandro Vigil, Chief Winemaker at Bodega Catena Zapata, it reflects the character of Mendoza’s high-altitude winemaking region in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.

On the nose, aromas of black fruit, cherry and dark berryfruit set an expressive tone. The full-bodied palate develops flavours of spice, blackberry, black cherry and pepper, lifted by a slight floral character. An elegant, lengthy finish completes the profile, making this a considered choice for those who enjoy structured, expressive reds.
