Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme is the purest expression of Yeni Rakı: crafted from carefully selected 100% fresh grapes, distilled five times in copper pot stills with a drop by-drop “long distillation” that extends the process from 48 to 72 hours, and made with balanced aniseed and no added sugar. The result is luxuriously smooth and mild, with a nuanced bouquet—mild fruit layered with sweet spice notes of nutmeg, vanilla, and liquorice, plus hints of black pepper and pine—earning Gold Medals at the SIP Awards 2022 and the World Spirits Award 2021. At 45% ABV, it shares kinship with other anise spirits like ouzo and pastis, yet retains a distinctly Turkish character.
