4 x 500ml Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil Pack

Produced by Flax Farm, this cold-pressed organic high lignan flaxseed oil comes as a pack of four 500ml bottles. The oil has a delicate, mild and creamy character with a nutty flavour, making it well suited to porridge, salads, soups and shakes, as well as everyday cooking and dressings.

Pressed from flaxseeds and bottled in the traditional way, it is made in small batches and left unfiltered and unrefined, with no preservatives. The naturally occurring high lignan particles may settle as a dark layer at the bottom of the bottle, which is normal. Certified organic by the Soil Association, this oil is presented in dark green glass bottles to help protect it from sunlight.

Storage and serving

• Shake well before use to incorporate the lignans into all of the oil
• Store bottles on their side to make incorporating the lignans easier
• Use within 75 days from opening or 4 months from pressing
• Store an opened bottle in the fridge
• Can be stored in the freezer for a limited time, which extends its life for up to 6 months
• Suitable for salad dressing, drizzling over porridge, soups, pasta and cooked vegetables, blending with low-fat yoghurt and cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, houmous and other Mediterranean dips and sauces
