Synopses

Death and Fromage

Richard runs a B&B in the Val de Follet and likes his life uneventful. That changes when scandal hits nearby Saint-Sauver after its famous restaurant is downgraded from three Michelin stars to two, and a leading goat’s cheese supplier is found drowned in a pasteurisation tank.

Valérie d’Orçay, staying at the B&B while house-hunting, doubts it was suicide. Despite his misgivings, Richard is drawn into her investigation and finds himself becoming a major player.

Death and Croissants

In the fictional Val de Follet in the Loire Valley, Richard’s quiet routine is interrupted when one of his older guests disappears, leaving a bloody handprint on the wallpaper. Valérie persuades a reluctant Richard to help investigate the disappearance.

Death at the Chateau (Hardback)

Richard Ainsworth’s French B&B is taken over by a production company filming a historical movie at the Château de Valençay. The shoot is halted when an actor dies suddenly under suspicious circumstances.

Valérie d’Orçay and Richard offer catering services to the resumed production as they try to uncover what happened. On set, they encounter vanity, duplicity and murder, with more heads yet to roll.
