From Antinori Tenuta Tignanello, Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva is a Chianti Classico Riserva with a poised, structured style. It opens with notes of ripe red fruit on the nose, layered with vanilla and spice, while the palate is balanced, lively and deep with soft, silky tannins.

A long, persistent finish gives the wine its sense of character. In the cellar, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks for about a week. After spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged in French and Hungarian oak barriques for about a year, then matured in bottle for a further 12 months.
